Surprisingly, eighty percent (80%) of the schools listed here are private. While all other award BSc, only FUTO is known to award BTech being a technology university. 

The duration to complete a degree varies and it ranges from four (4) years to five (5) years. It is a five years programme at FUTO. 


Tuition Fees for Software Engineering in Nigeria

The tuition fee per session for the programme varies widely. It could be ten of thousands of Naira to few millions of Naira. At the time of putting up this page Nile University charge as much as N2.5 million per session while FUTO and Dutse charge fewer than a hundred thousand Naira.

Software Engineering as a programme is approved by National University of Commission (NUC) and accredited by the Council of the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) at all the universities mentioned above.
