Iwo City Polytechnic is among the ten (10) existing polytechnics in Osun State. It has been around for a while and it is a private education institution, a fact that arouse concern among the prospective students whether the school is legal or that it is accredited by the appropriate government body to operate in Nigeria.
Iwo City Polytechnic Accreditation Status
No prospective students should fear not to apply for an admission with the institution because it is an accredited higher education institution.
One of the evidence to back this claim is that Iwo City Polytechnic is listed among the accredited schools on the website of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), an organisation established by the Nigerian government to certify and accredit polytechnic, technical schools and other TVET institution in Nigeria. Follow the link below to NBTE website to see Iwo City Polytechnic listed.
Iwo City Polytechnic is also well listed on JAMB. This mean that a students could chose to apply for an admission at the institution. If it had not been accredited it would not have been listed on JAMB. If you do not see Iwo City Polytechnic listed after reading this, it might mean it's accreditation had been withdrawn.
