Stars Pokytechnics is one of the new private polytechnics established in Ota, Ogun State. The brain behind the school is Dr. Reuben Ovai, a reputed scholar with hand in the establishment of different education institutions. 

Being a newly established higher education school in Nigeria, it is not a strange thing for prospective students to want to know whether it is a legal institution accredited by the appropriate government agency.

Yes, Stars Pokytechnics is a legal polytechnic institution established in 2016. The school was licenced by the Federal Ministry of Education and was accredited by National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in 2020 to offer educational  service to Nigerian citizens. If not there at the time of checking, it might mean the institution has lost its accreditation. 

Secondly, at the time of putting up this page the name Stars Polytechnic was in the JAMB brochure among the schools a student could choose to apply to. Illegal or non-accredited  polytechnics can't be listed in it.

Stars Polytechnic Entry Requirements.

The minimum entry requirements accepted are credit passes in five relevant O'level subjects which must include Mathematics and English Language.
