LASU Electronics and Computer Engineering Entry Requirements

Lagos State University (LASU) is one of the only two universities where a programme called Electronics and Computer Engineering is taught in Nigeria. 

The programme is design to walk students through the basic  electronics and computer engineering principles and technology.

Entry Requirements Electronics and Computer Engineering LASU

O'level Applicants 

Credit passes in five relevant subjects at not more than two sittings from one or two of the following O'level examination qualifications.

  • WASSCE 
  • NECO SSCE 
  • GCE O'level
  • NABTEB

WAEC Subject Combination 

The Lagos State University (LASU)  Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering accept five credit passes in: 
  • English Language 
  • Mathematics 
  • Physics 
  • Chemistry 
  • Further Mathematics  or 
  • Technical Drawing 
  • Biology 
  • Geography 
  • Economics 
An O'level applicant must sit for, pass and make the cut of mark for JAMB coordinated UTME and for the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering LASU post UTME screening.

JAMB Subjects Combination 

  • Mathematics 
  • Physics 
  • Chemistry and 
  • English Language 

Direct Entry Requirements 

  • GCE A'Level: good passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
  • National Diploma (ND): distinction in relevant engineering disciplines to 200 level 
  • Higher National Diploma (HND): upper credit in relevant engineering disciplines to 200 level or distinction to 300 level

Plus: O'level subjects combination.
