A University of Cincinnati Mechanical Engineering Student Awarded First at AIAA

An undergraduate student at the Department of  Mechanical Engineering University of Cincinnati has been awarded a 1st place in the undergraduate category at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Region 3 conference.

Rebecca Gilligan, a member of the University of Cincinnati Aerial Vehicle Team was awarded first place for her paper presentations on research titled: Design of an All-Terrain Aerial Robotic Interface (ATARI) as a Collaborative Platform for UAV's" 

For this achievement, the elated Gilligan did not hesitate to share the news to the world when she tweeted:  

According to her, the achievement will afford her an opportunity to attend the International Student Conference at AIAA's SciTech Forum in Jan 2023.
