The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Department of Mechanical Engineering accept five credit passes in:

An O'level applicant must sit for, pass and make the cut of mark for JAMB coordinated UTME and for the Department of Mechanical Engineering UNILAG's post UTME screening.

- Higher National Diploma (HND): upper credit in relevant engineering disciplines to 300 level.
