Electrical Electronics Engineering Entry Requirements UNILAG

Electrical and Electronics Engineering as a discipline was first taught at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in 1964. It formed one of the three programmes that started the Faculty of Engineering of the prestigious institution. 

It is taught at under-graduate at post-graduate degree level leading to the award of BSc, MSc, MPhil and PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

O'level Applicants 

Credit passes in five relevant subjects at not more than two sittings from one or two of the following O'level examination qualifications.

WAEC Subject Combination 

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering accept five credit passes in:

An O'level applicant must sit for, pass and make the cut of mark for JAMB coordinated UTME and for the Department of Electrical Electronics Engineering UNILAG's post UTME screening.

JAMB Subjects Combination

  • English Language 

Direct Entry Requirements 

  • GCE A'Level: good passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
  • JUPEB: good passes in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics 
  • National Diploma (ND): upper credit in relevant engineering disciplines to 200 level 
  • Higher National Diploma (HND): upper credit in relevant engineering disciplines to 300 level.  Or 
  • A'Level Cambridge

Plus: O'level subjects combination.
