Electrical and Electronic Engineering Entry Requirement (OAUSTECH)

O'level Applicants

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) accept five O'level credit passes from : 
  • Mathematics 
  • Physics 
  • Chemistry 
  • English Language and 
  • Any science subjects. 
OAUSTECH give priority to a credit pass in Further Mathematics as the fifth subject at the time of this post.

The five subjects must be from one or two of the following: 
  • WASSCE 
  • NECO/SSCE
  • GCE O'level and 
  • NABTEB

O'level candidates must make the cut off mark for JAMB and post UTME (if conducted) for the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. 

JAMB Subjects Combination 

  • Physics
  • Chemistry 
  • Mathematics and 
  • English Language

Direct Entry Applicants 

  • First degree from a recognized university in the relevant engineering courses not below Second Class Lower.
  • National Diploma: Upper Credit in relevant courses.
  • Higher National Diploma: lower credit. 
  • JUPEB: good points in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
  • GCE Advance Level:  passes in Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry
  • Pre-degree: good pass.
  • Plus the O'level result as stated above.
Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) lasted at least five years for the Jambites, leading to the award of Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree. 

The course is accredited by the NUC and COREN.
