Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology offers nine (9) accredited engineering courses as listed below:
- Industrial Production Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Polymer Engineering
- Gas Engineering
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering and
- Mechanical Engineering
- Petroleum Engineering
- Materials and Metallurgical Engineering
Each of the engineering courses is five (5) years programme leading to the award of Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) honour at the end of the study.

Listed below are the general entry requirements for all the engineering courses listed above.
WAEC Subject combination
The school of Engineering, Olusegun Agagu accept:
Five O'level credit passes in
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry and
- English Language and
- One other science subject
- OAUSTECH accept credit pass in Further Mathematics as the fifth subject.
The five O'level passes must not be from more than at two sittings.
Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations
O'level applicants are expected to sit for, pass and make the cut off mark for the UTME.
JAMB Subjects Combination
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry and
- English Language
Direct Entry Applicants Entry Requirements
- National Diploma (ND)
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
- JUPEB: good points in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- GCE Advance Level
- OSUSTECH accepts first degree from a recognized university in the relevant subjects not below Second Class Lower.
- Plus O'level qualification as stated above
The accreditation of the above eight engineering courses is by both the National University Commission (NUC) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
