Industrial Production Engineering is a discipline that focus on the application of engineering procedures in the production and manufacturing process with aim to achieve efficiency.
Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology award Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree honour in Industrial and Production Engineering at the end of the study which usually lasted a minimum duration of five (5) years for those admitted to 100 level of the programme.
Listed below are the minimum entry requirements accepted by the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering to 100 level. This include for the O'level and Direct Entry Candidates plus the WAEC and JAMB subjects combination.
Industrial and Production Engineering Entry Requirement (OAUSTECH)
O'level Applicants
The Department of Industrial and Production Engineering, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) accept five O'level credit passes from :
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- English Language and
- Any science subjects.
OAUSTECH give priority to a credit pass in Further Mathematics as the fifth subjects at the time of this post.
The five subjects must be from one or two of the following:
- WASSCE
- NECO/SSCE
- GCE O'level and
- NABTEB
O'level candidates must make the cut off mark for JAMB and post UTME (if conducted) for the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering.
JAMB Subjects Combination
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics and
- English Language
Direct Entry Applicants
- First degree from a recognized university in the relevant engineering courses not below Second Class Lower.
- National Diploma: Upper Credit in relevant courses.
- Higher National Diploma: lower credit.
- JUPEB: good points in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
- GCE Advance Level: passes in Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry
- Pre-degree: good pass.
- Plus the O'level result as stated above.
Industrial and Production Engineering at the Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) is accredited by the NUC and COREN.
