Medicine and Surgery Entry Requirements | University of Johannesburg

Medicine and Surgery is the king of medical sciences, as so say by some people. It is a discipline that apply scientific principles to prevent disease, treat disease and improve the quality of life.

While medicine and surgery is well know as a field of study, it could also be a course. To be awarded a MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) a student will have to study for at least six (6) years doing  various courses and thereafter be refers to as a Doctor.

Though University of Johannesburg operate Faculty of Health Sciences, Medicine and Surgery is not among the taught programmes and so the University of Johannesburg doesn't award MBBS degree to student at the time of this post.
