Only at the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus and at Burwood, Melbourne Campus are the engineering courses are taught at Deakin University. The Waurn Ponds Campus is the second location of Deakin University Campuses in Geelong.
The Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus boasts of courses in the area of engineering, exercise and sport science, health sciences laws and criminology, awarding qualifications such as associate degree, bachelor degree, double degree and diploma.
Some of the facilities on ground for teaching, learning and to make living comfortable for students and staff are: Institute for Frontier Materials, Regional Community Health Hub, Engineering Precinct, Crime Scene House, Interactive Learning Precinct , 3D Gait Laboratory, Clinical Simulation Center, Interactive Classroom, Library, Accommodation, Childcare Center and Health and Wellbeing Center.
