Bachelor of Computer Engineering and Fees in Australia

Details of the universities that offer computer engineering as a course and their fees in Australia are provided for you on this page.

Bachelor of Computer Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) and Computer Science in Australia are not totally the same courses.

What we could quickly notice between the two courses is that one is an engineering course and the other is a science course.

While computer engineering as a discipline design and build a computer system (both hardware and software parts) from ground up, the computer science focus of developing only the software for the system.

The computer engineers know how the hardwares like hard disk, RAM, power pack, motherboard, graphic drive and so on work in relation to one another and with the software. The computer scientists work only on the development of software which include algorithm, operating systems and applicants for the computer.

Computer Engineering being one of the engineering courses is accredited by the Engineers Australia as well as the Australian Computer Society (ACS), but computer science is only accredited by the latter.

Now, let see the number of the universities in Australia that offers computer engineering as a taught course and the fees each charge.
