Dr. Mukhail Akinde is elected to the exalted post following the retirement of the erstwhile Rector of FPI, Architect Olusegun Olarenwaju Aluko who recently bowed out of office after eight years of meritorious service to the institution.
Dr. Akinde, was untill his appointment, the Dean, School of Management Studies of the Polytechnic.
The announcement was made in Abuja today by the Honourable Minister of Education Mallam Adamu Adamu in the presence of the Governing Council Chairman of the institution, Dr (Mrs) Veronica, E. Ogbuagu, another member of the Council, Mrs Iyabo Amodu as well as the wife of the new Rector, Mrs Adenike Akinde.
