The amiable entrepreneur, pioneer of the manufacturing of Nigerian brand of indigenous vehicle was conferred with Honorary Fellowship Award at the 28th convocation ceremony of the Kwara State Polytechnic, for his philanthropic contributions to the polytechnic and the nation as a whole.
This is not the first time the business magnate and investor would be so conferred with an award for his business acumen and his philanthropic works, especially for the benefit of the Nigerian.
Just two months ago Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuna was among many dignitaries drawn from across Nigeria that President Mohammed Buhari conferred with national awards. He was decorated with the Commander of the Order of Niger (CON), one of the highest honours that could be bestowed on anybody in Nigeria.
Some other dignitaries that were conferred with Honorary fellowship Award at the Kwarapoly 28th Convocation were Mr. Emmanuel Abidoye (represented) CEO FEMTECH Information Technology, Chief Akinade Adejumo CEO Fortunate Bread and Alhaji Chief Dr. AbdulRaheem Amoo Oladimeji, OFR - The founder of Al-Hikmah University and Asiwaju Igbomina Land.
Many people from far and near were in attendance at the convocation ceremony among who was the Governor of Kwara State who was ably represented by the Deputy Governor Mr. Kayode Alabi. Staff of the Kwara State Polytechnic, the school alumni executive, the parents and the guardians of the graduating students.
