Founder of Al-Hikma University Honoured at Kwarapoly Convocation

The 28th Convocation ceremony of the Kwara State Polytechnic (Kwarapoly)  has come and gone but the memory of the event will remain with us for a longer time. 

There were many activities at the event that was staged between 18th to 20th of October and on top of them was the conferment of honorary fellowship on some dignitaries in our society among who was the founder of the Al-Hikma University, a private tertiary institution in Ilorin, Alhaji Chief Dr. AbdulRaheem Amoo Oladimeji, OFR - the Asiwaju Igbomina Land for his philanthropic contributions to the Polytechnic and the Nation as a whole. 

The award plaque and academic regalia was later presented to Chief Dr. AbdulRaheem Amoo by the rector of the institution Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Mohammed with the help of other members of the institution. 

Among other dignitaries the Kwarapoly honoured with the award were Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuna, OFR - The CEO of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Chief Akinade Adejumo CEO Fortunate Bread  and  Mr. Emmanuel Abidoye CEO FEMTECH Information Technology who send a representative.

In attendance at the convocation ceremony were the representative of the Kwara State Governor lead by the Deputy Governor Mr. Kayode Alabi who delivered one of the convocation address. The Kwarapoly Alumni Association, staff of the institution and the parents and the guardians of the graduands students.
