The agreement which was signed on Tuesday October 18, 2022 was not limited to only Tiemcen University but eight other Algerian prestigious universities.
The agreement was signed to booster the cooperation in the scientific research and development between the University of Istanbul and the other Algerian universities involved.
The agreements were signed in the presence of the Algerian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, and the Chairman of the Higher Education Board Turkey, Arrol Ozwar.
This is not the first cooperation agreement the Tiemcen University would signed this year. It should be recalled that on the 26th of June, the management of the institution sign a scientific and academic convention with Council for Arabic Language. The cooperation agreement ceremony which was held at the headquarter of the institution saw Tiemcen University Rector Prof Meghachou Mourad signing on behalf of the institution while Prof. Salah Belaid signed for Council for Arabic Language.
