Entry Requirements MBBS, University of Ghana (UG)

Holders of senior high school result must have at least credit in the following subjects:  

Core

• English Language 
• Mathematics
• Integrated Science 
• Social Studies

Electives

• Chemistry and any two of 
• Physics 
• Biology 
• Elective Mathematics 

Students with these Higher Qualifications 

GCE "A" Level in: 

• Physics 
• Chemistry and
• Biology/Mathematics 

The maximum point requires from the two sets of applicants is 7. 

Level 100 students in Biological Science or Biomathematical Sciences (Chemistry option) in the Faculty of Science in the University of Ghana and have obtained a minimum CGPA of 2.50 would be considered for admission if apply for the change of course to Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. 

Holders of first degree in the following: 

• Basic Medical
• Biological or 
• Physical Sciences 
• As well as those who may have completed part of the MB ChB (or its equivalent) in a recognized university, may also be considered for admission on the recommendation of a special committee appointed by the Dean. 

In furtherance to the above minimum entry requirements to University of Ghana MBBS, candidates could be invited for interview or qualifications examination before been granted a provisional admission.
