Ain Shams University representing Enactus Egypt beat other Enactus National Champions from thirty-two (32) countries of the world to clinch the title.
Nine African countries were represented in this year Enactus World Cup championship which was held in Puerto Rico in South America, the first time such number of African countries would be presented. The other Enactus National Champion from Africa are:
- C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences: Ghana
- University of Eswatini - Luyengo Campus
- Moi University, Annex Campus: Kenya
- Mohammadia School of Engineers: Morocco
- Ahmadu Bello University: Nigeria
- Polytechnic School of the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar: Senegar
- Central University of Technology: South Africa
- Higher Institute of Computer Science of El Manar: Tunisia
- Lupane State University: Zimbabwe
This is the fourth time in five years a team from Egypt have won the championship. Cairo University won it in 2019; Al-Azhar University in 2020; October 6 University won it in 2021 and now in 2022, Ain Shams University.
Ain Shams University was crowned the Egypt Enactus National Champion in July this year having beating about sixty-six Enactus teams across Egypt that participated.
