The University of Abuja has entered into partnership with The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy on hosting of Uniabuja Web resources and other technological innovation.
This partnership will save the University of Abuja $6000 monthly subscription being paid to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Speaking on this development, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdul-Rasheed Na'Allah, described the partnership as another feat towards saving the meagre resources of the University.
He added that the saved fund would be channeled towards other developmental projects to meet up with the infrastructural deficit of the University.
While reiterating his commitment to making University of Abuja join the league of world-class universities, Na'Allah described Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics as a leading technology and research institution in the world, pointing out that partnering with such a Centre will bring a lot of development to the University.
