Vivian Ngozi Nwogbo was elected at an election conducted by the management of the institution in November 2022. In a keenly contested election, Prof. Nwogbo polled a total of 63 votes to defeat two other contestants; Prof. Williams Obiozor (Dept. of Adult Education) who scored 48 votes and Prof. Ebele Okigbo (Dept. of Science Education) who scored 44 votes.
The astute scholar from Awka in Awka South local government area of Anambra State is a typical Nnamd Azikiwe University person, having had majority of her education and professional career at the institution.
Professor Vivian Ngozi Nwogbo have been in the UNIZIK for more than twenty -four years serving in different capacity lecturer. She started as graduate assistant and now the the Dean of the Faculty of Education.
