The publication showed that the University of Melbourne was the second most international university in Australia for the year 2023, coming behind just only the Australian National University which occupied the number one position.
It was revealed that the larger part of the data used to prepare the list were drawn from the international outlook pillar of the Times Higher Education (ThE) World University Ranking 2023 taking into consideration the proportion number of the international students, the international staff and the journal publication co-author by at least one international scholar.
Forty-seven percent of the total number of the students at University of Melbourne were international students at the time the data was being prepared. This and other factors as stated above were considered to place the institution in 38th position on the international stage and second most international university in Australia.
The Times Higher Education published this list to help students who will like to study in a university institution with most international environment to make a better decision.
