During the graduation ceremony which was full of academic recognitions and awards, Mr. Owomugisha Jordan was announced the Best Humanities and the Best Overall Student of the institution. He studied Bachelor of Commerce, from the Makerere University Business School (MUBS)-Mabarara Campus and he managed to score CGPA of 4.90.
Jordan was also a Guild Prime Minister for the same Makerere MUBS for Academic Year 2021/2022.
While commenting on the social media on the completion of his academic programme at Makerere University, Jordan stated that:
"Finally the journey I started way back in 2019 has ended successfully with a First Class Bachelor Degree of Commerce secured"
On the 4th session of the 73rd graduation ceremony, Owomugisha Jordan was presented with a plaque for the Best Humanities and the Best Overall Student in Humanities by the Makerere University Convocation Chair, Dr. Tanga Odoi Jordon. He also went home with a token of 1milllion shilling.
On what next he plans to do after a successful academic career at Makerere University, an elated Jordan stated that the next step is now thinking of ways he can use the knowledge he have attained from university to positively impact on the societies he live in and the country Uganda at large.
A publication by the management of Makerere University showed that a total of 13,221 students graduated at the 73rd graduation ceremony. Among this numbers were 11,598 students who earned undergraduate degree qualifications and from this number emerges Owomugisha Jordan as the Best Overall Student.
