Studying for a degree in Computer Engineering at Catholic Church of Nigeria owned Madonna University will equipped students with every needed skills to become competent Computer Engineers. O'Level Entry Requirements  

Five (5) ‘O’ level subjects at credit level not more than two sittings 

WAEC Subjects Combination 

  • English Language

  • any other relevant science subject like 
  • Agricultural Science 
  • Technical Drawing 
  • Applied Mathematics 
  • Biology 
  • Geography 
  • Economics 

From one or two of the following exam qualifications. 

  • WAEC,

  • NABTEB

JAMB Coordinated UTME 

O'Level applicants must make the cut off mark for JAMB and the Department of Computer Engineering screening exercise.

  • Physics 
  • Chemistry 
  • Mathematics 
  • English Language 


Madonna University Pre-Degree Programme 

Madonna University runs Pre-degree programme which students with disadvantage in UTME could make good use to facilitate admission to 100 level at the Department of Computer Engineering. 


Direct Entry Requirements Madonna University 

For Direct Entry, candidates must have
  • Advance Level (HSC/GCE/A'Level/IJMB/JUPEB): passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. 
  • National Diploma (ND) : upper credit in relevant engineering courses and
  • Higher National Diploma (HND): upper credit in relevant engineering courses. 

O'Level and Pre-degree qualifications holders are admitted to 100 level while direct entry applicants are admitted to 200 level. HND and first degree holders are eligible to 300 level.
