Mechanical Engineering and Entry Requirements

Nigeria Maritime University is a government funded research institution in Delta State. It becomes one of the universities where Mechanical Engineering is taught in Nigeria in 2018 just immediately on take off. As at the time of this post the school parades three faculties among which is the Faculty of Engineering where all engineering courses are housed.

Nigeria Maritime University (NMU) Pre-degree allow students who could not make admission through UTME to facilitate entry to 100 level at the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Direct Entry Requirements Nigeria Maritime University (NMU)

Candidates who are applying for an admission through Direct Entry, must have one of the following qualifications.

Advance Level (HSC/GCE/A'Level/IJMB/JUPEB): passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

National Diploma (ND) : upper credit in relevant engineering courses and

Higher National Diploma (HND): upper credit in relevant engineering courses.

O'Level and Pre-degree qualifications holders are admitted to 100 level while direct entry applicants are admitted to 200 level. HND and first degree holders are eligible to 300 level.
