Baze University is one of the three universities in Abuja that carry COREN accredited engineering courses. It is a private university with strong connection with many prestigious international universities at home and abroad.
The Faculty of Engineering within which all the six (6) engineering courses the institution offered was fully accredited by NUC in 2016 with aim to train and graduate skill engineering manpower locally.
Here are the minimum general entry requirements for the engineering courses at Baze University for the O'Level and Direct Entry Applicants plus the WAEC and JAMB subjects combination.

The courses listed above are at undergraduate level. Each of the courses lasted a minimum duration of five (5) years for students admitted to 100 level on full time study mode and Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree is awarded students on the completion of a study.
Entry Requirements O'Level
The entry requirements here is applicable for all courses. There are lot of departmental requirements which changes always, they are not mentioned here.
WAEC Subjects Combination
Credit passes in five (5) subjects including:
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Chemistry
- Physics and one of
- Technical Drawing
- Biology
- Applied Mathematics
- Agricultural Science
- Geography
- Economics
At not more than two sittings from one or two of the following qualification examinations.
- West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
- NECO/SSCE
- General Certificate of Education
JAMB Coordinated UTME
To be eligible to an admission, an O'Level applicant must write, pass and make JAMB cut off mark and the departmental screening cut off mark.
JAMB Subjects Combination
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry
Note: The subject combination above is valid for all courses.
Direct Entry Requirements
- Advance Level (GCE or JUPEB or IJMB or HSC): three passes in Mathematics, Physics and one other science subject.
- National Diploma (ND): upper credit in relevant engineering programmes.
- HND: lower credit in relevant engineering programmes.
- O'Level result as stated above.

All the courses listed above at Baze University, Abuja were fully accredited at the time of the post by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), National University Commission (NUC) and regulatory bodies relevant to each courses.
