Electrical and Electronic Engineering is one of the engineering courses with which the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Kenyatta University started. 

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering was founded to raise locally produced engineers  who are skillful in designing, development and maintenance of circuit board and the systems that generate and use electricity, therefore reduce the dependency on the expatriates.

  • English - B-    
  • Physics - B+

OR    

  • Mathematics - B+    
  • English - B-
  • Physical Science - B+

Holders of Diploma Qualifications

  • National Diploma holders in Engineering from recognized higher institution of learning.  


Graduates of this discipline have job opportunities in all manufacturing companies that scattered around Kenya. There are also job opportunities for them in education institutions, research institutions, government agencies, oil and gas industry and in consultancy.
