Studying for a degree in Software Engineering is all about gaining knowledge in how to design and maintain software applications (computer program that perform specific task) by  the engineering principles and programming languages.  

At the School of Computing and Information Technology at the Technical University of Kenya (TU-K) you will be taught Software Application and Development studying one of the degree programmes on offered but actually they don't award a degree in neither Software Engineering nor Software Development and Application.
