Top 10 Universities for Engineering in Nigeria By Times Higher Education

The Times Higher Education (THE) has published the world university rankings by subjects.

The ranking highlights the universities that are leading across the following disciplines: general engineering, aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and electronic engineering and mechanical engineering.

Despite some Nigerian universities appear on the rankings, none is able to make top 500 in the world. This shows there is a lot of work to be done to shore up their performances.

What is surprising about this ranking is the universities that are usually on top in general ranking are at the middle and bottom of the table for engineering subjects. Two private universities are able to make the list.
