College of Medicine Class of 1988 Gift UI N100 Million for The Students' Hostel Building Project

The College of Medicine, University of Ibadan (CoMUI) MBBS/BDS Class of 1988 has made an extraordinary contribution of 100 million Naira towards the ongoing Student Hostel Building Project. This unprecedented gift was unveiled during the class's ongoing reunion event held in the beautiful city of Kigali, Rwanda.

The Provost of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Professor Olayinka Omigbodun FAS, received this gift when she joined the reunion at a virtual event on the evening of Wednesday, 14th November, 2023. 

She has released a short statement to appreciate the good gesture thus: "On behalf of the Students, Staff, and Alumni, we receive with deep gratitude this remarkable donation of 100 million Naira towards the building project from the MBBS/BDS Class of 1988. This is an awesome & unprecedented gift of sacrifice and love from the Greatest CoMUI MBBS/BDS Class of 1988. This gift is not merely a financial contribution, but it reflects the enduring spirit of unity and love that binds us as CoMUI/ICOMAA family. I am deeply grateful for the support our administration has enjoyed from the MBBS/BDS Class of 1988 and for setting an inspiring example for all alumni. I believe this draws us closer to our goal of giving a befitting learning environment to our students."
