The University of Nigeria, Nsukka Becomes 19th Full Member of ARUA

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has become the 19th full member of African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA). This was made known at the colourful ceremony of the Fourth ARUA 2023 Biennial International Conference hosted by the University of Lagos (UNILAG) at the Tayo Aderinokun Theatre. 

A publication from ARUA stated that this follows the acceptance of the invitation from the Board of ARUA by the University and the organisation is very pleased to have them on board knowing that UNN is joining the Alliance with a very strong research track record. 

The conference which was held between 15 - 17 of November brings together about 350 participants, who are experts from universities, research organisations, industry government agencies, civil society organisations and stakeholders of ARUA from within African countries, Europe, North America and from Asia. 

The theme for the 2023 Conference is: Reimagining the Future of Higher Education in Africa.
