Deputy Registrar MOUAU Becomes The First Abia Woman, Fellow of The NIPR

Deputy Registrar Onyinye Ralph-Nwachukwu of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, has etched her name in history as the first Abia woman to achieve the prestigious title of Fellow at the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

She was honored with the Fellowship on April 25, 2024, during the Nigeria Public Relations Week in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Onyinye's journey, marked by hard work and dedication, reflects her lifelong commitment to excellence.

Born after years of anticipation, Onyinye, affectionately known as ONYINYECHI, has always embodied the meaning of her name - 'special gift from God'. From her academic pursuits to her professional endeavors, she has consistently made a significant impact.

With degrees from renowned institutions like the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Abia State University, Uturu feom where she earned a Master of Arts(MA) in Mass Communication(Public Relations and Advertising. Onyinye's dedication to her field is unwavering. Her career began in broadcasting during her National Youth Service, where she quickly became a household name. Transitioning to the academic realm. Her experience in led to her being the instrument of revitalisation of the Public Relations/Protocol Unit at MOUAU becoming the Head of the Department. 

A member of various professional associations, including NIPR and Rotary International, Onyinye's commitment to service knows no bounds. Her accolades, including the Rotary International Regional Service Award, speak volumes about her dedication to making a difference in society.
