Higher Health Recognises UNISA for Folstering Students Holistic Health and Well Being

The Higher Education and Training Health, Wellness and Development Centre (Higher Health) a South Africa based agency that seek to improve the academic performances of millions of university and TVT's students in the country by improving their health and well-being has recognized the University of South Africa for their commitment to fostering the holistic health, well-being of their students. 

In the picture above is Prof Ramneek Ahluwalia, CEO of Higher Health, presented University of South Africa (UNISA) Principal and Vice-Chancellor Prof Puleng LenkaBula with an award in recognition of Unisa's unwavering commitment to fostering students' holistic health, development, well-being and psychosocial support. Higher Health acknowledges Unisa’s efforts to serve as a beacon of inspiration for the entire academic community.   

It is revealed that student health and well being satisfaction in the institutions of higher learning is one of the fundamental requirements that has to be met in an effort to promote and maintain students’ physical, social and intellectual acuity which in turn lead to high academic performance. 

Many other higher institution of learning including Durban University of Technology (DUT) have been recognized with this award in the past.
