Five Students of AAU, Ekpoma, Suspended for Various Offenses

The management of Ambrose Ali University (AAU), Ekpoma has announced the suspension of some of it students on an allegation of breach of matriculation oath.

The announcement which was made yesterday 5th of August, 2019, revealed the affected students to be five in number and they are from different departments of the institution.

According to the announcement, the accused students will remain suspended pending the outcome of the investigation panel of the school. They will thereafter be arranged before the student disciplinary committee for hearing.

The names of the affected students as published by the management of AAU is listed below.

Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma is one university which will not condone with any act of indiscipline. It should be remembered that in 2018 some students of the institution who were sixty-four in numbers were disciplined for engaging in exam malpractices. Among the punishment handled them that time were suspension from school for two semesters, while some others were totally rusticated.

Nobody is above law at Ambrose Ali University. Whether a student or a staff, no matter who a person is, no matter the post the person occupy, the moment the person commit an offence and is caught, the person will be punished according to the established law of the school. 

Early this year it was reported that the university Chairman of Academic Staff Union was suspended for gross misconducts which includes but not limited to sexual harassment of some of the school female students.

As for the case of the above mentioned five suspended students, the university management enjoined all departments of the institution to take note of the development.
