Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma is among the five universities in Edo state that are fully accredited to offer engineering courses. It is a state funded university and the oldest having been established since 1981.
Listed on this page are all the engineering courses the institution offers and the general entry requirements for the O'Level and direct entry applicants plus the WAEC and JAMB subjects combination (same for all the courses).

This list represented accredited undergraduate courses offered by the Faculty of Engineering, AAU at the time of this post. Each of the programmes run for five (5) years for those admitted to 100 level, full time mode, awarding Bachelor of Engineering (BEng).
Entry Requirements O'Level
WAEC Subjects Combination
Credit passes in five (5) subjects including:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- English Language and one of
- Technical Drawing
- Biology
- Applied Mathematics
- Agricultural Science
- Geography
- Economics
At not more than two sittings from one or two of the following qualification examinations.
- West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
- NECO/SSCE
- General Certificate of Education
JAMB Coordinated UTME
To be eligible to an admission, an O'Level applicant must write, pass and make JAMB cut off mark and the departmental screening cut off mark.
JAMB Subjects Combination
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry
Note: The subject combination above is valid for all courses.
Direct Entry Requirements
- Advance Level (GCE or JUPEB or IJMB or HSC): three passes in Mathematics, Physics and one other science subject.
- National Diploma (ND): upper credit in relevant engineering programmes.
- HND: lower credit in relevant engineering programmes.
- O'Level result as stated above.
Engineering Accreditation Ambrose Alli University
All the courses listed above at Ambrose Alli University were fully accredited at the time of the post by Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and regulatory bodies relevant to each courses.
