Below is the entry requirements to study the course at the prestigious university located in Malete, Kwara State.
Aeronautical Engineering Entry Requirements
Secondary School Results must be: 
Minimum of five (5) credit passes which must include 
- Mathematics
 - Physics
 - Chemistry
 - Technical Drawing/ Further Mathematical
 - English Language
 
At not more than two sittings in either 
- WASSCE
 - SSCE or
 - GCE
 
Students must sit for, pass and make the  UTME cut off mark. Then he must also pass and make the KWASU's post UTME  cut off mark for Aeronautical  Engineering.
UTME Subjects:
- Mathematics
 - English Language
 - Chemistry and
 - Physics
 
Direct Entry Candidates
All direct entry applicants must present Senior Secondary School results as above. Plus
National Diploma (ND)
Minimum of Upper Credit in
National Diploma (ND) or it's equivalent in related engineering courses (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Engineering) to be considered to 200 level.
Higher National Diploma (HND)
Minimum of Upper Credits in HND or it's equivalent in relevant engineering course as above before an applicant could be considered to 300 level. 
GCE A Level.
Minimum of Grade C in GCE A Level or it's equivalent in subjects combination  of: Physic, Mathematics and Chemistry. Plus senior secondary school results as stated above to be considered to 200 level. 
KWASU MAY NO MORE BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS TO STUDY AERONAUTIC AND ASTRONAUTICS ENGINEERING BECAUSE IN RECENT TIME IT DOESN'T APPEARS ON JAMB AMONG THE LIST OF UNIVERSITIES THAT OFFER THE PROGRAMME IN NIGERIA.
