Browse this page for the details about Chemical Engineering at University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), including information about entry requirements to study the programme, the SSCE subjects combination and the JAMB/UTME subject combinations.
The Department of Chemical Engineering at UNIMAID was floated to train highly skill indigenous Chemical Engineers that will be capable of meeting the Chemical Engineering related need and development of the sector in Nigeria.
To achieve this is why UNIMAID design the teaching curriculum of the programme strictly to conform with the National University Commission (NUC) Benchmark Minimum Academic Standard (BMAS) offering core courses which include but not limited to:
- Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics
- Separation Process
- Chemical Kinetics
- Polymer Process Engineering
- Science of Material
- Biochemical Engineering
- Process Instrumentation
