Wits University Engineering Management and Entry Requirements

Engineering Management at Witwatersrand University is taught as one of the post graduate degree programmes at the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, School of Mechanical, Aeronautical and Industrial Engineering.

To earn a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering Management, an applicant must apply to study for a MEng Industrial Engineering of which he choose Engineering Management as his area of specialization.

At University of Witwatersrand Engineering Management is one of the options of the Industrial Engineering. The other options are: system engineering and industrial engineering.

Engineering Management is a discipline that apply the principles of management to the practise of engineering. The programme is focus on developing the management skill of engineers in the field they well understood.

Wits University Industrial Engineering Entry Requirements 

Minimum entry requirements for different qualification holders to study for Master of Engineering (MEng) Industrial Engineering, Wits University.

Holders of First Degree: 

BSc in Engineering or any relevant equivalent qualification.

Holders of Post-Graduate Diploma in  Engineering (PGD Eng): 

Must be average of 60% or more. Wits University may give waiver to applicants with some years of relevant engineering working experience.

The management of Wits University recommend that an applicant must identify a supervisor and approached him prior to application.
