The University of Ibadan taught Industrial Production Engineering is an interdisciplinary discipline which focus on the application of engineering procedures in the optimization of complex manufacturing processes.
Industrial Production Engineering form part of eight (8) taught engineering programmes at the College of Technology, University of Ibadan. It is offer on full time study mode, lasting a minimum duration of five (5) years to the students admitted to 100 level and leading to the award of Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree.
The course is approved by the National University Commission (NUC)

Direct Entry Candidates
- General Certificate of Education (GCE A'Level): pass in Physics and Mathematics
- National Diploma (ND): Upper Credit in Industrial Production Engineering or other relevant engineering programmes from government approved polytechnic or other higher institutions of learning.
- Higher National Diploma (HND): upper credit as in ND.
