FUTA and Federal Poly Ile Oluji Ready to Partner for Potential Academic Development

The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic lle Oluji, Ondo State, Professor Emmanuel Fasakin, has said that his institution is ready to partner with FUTA on developing the academic potential of the academic communities. 

He stated this while on a familiarization visit to the Vice Chancellor and management of the FUTA. He said for staff of tertiary institutions to deliver their mandate of excellence in teaching, learning and research there was need for inter institutional collaborative efforts.

He further said that, as ideas are exchanged, intellectual discourse will be promoted.

The Rector use the opportunity of the visit to congratulated the Vice Chancellor on her appointment saying that it was well deserved and wished her a fruitful tenure. 

He said FUTA has accomplished great things in the past and was known to be a high flying citadel of learning worthy of emulation. 

Fasakin expressed optimism that FUTA will still attain greater success under her leadership.

In her remark, the Vice Chancellor Professor Adenike Oladiji said she was elated at the prospects of collaboration between the two institutions. 

She said, inter disciplinary collaborations was one of the ways of improving the quality of tertiary education in Nigeria adding that the impact will be of mutual benefit to both institutions. 

The VC then lauded the Rector for the visit, saying that FUTA will continue to be a leading light among the comity of higher institutions.
