Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) is a specialised institution that focus on teaching agricultural science and it's administration.
The engineering courses are taught at Jomo Kenyatta University to study, research and develop it's applicants in industries, especially in agricultural and in other aspects of human life.

Thirteen engineering courses are recorded to be on offered at JKUAT at the time of this post. This make the institution the provider of highest number of engineering courses in Kenya.
Accreditation
All the engineering courses listed above were fully accredited by the Engineering Board of Kenya (EBK).
Admission Requirements
The basic entry requirements for each of the courses listed above are:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade B- (minus) plus good grade in the four Joint Admission Board (JAB) cluster subjects of at least B (plain) and the minimum grades in the individual cluster subjects: Physics C+, Mathematics C+, Chemistry C+, Geography or Biology, or 2nd group III, or any group IV.
- A’ level: as deem recognised by the institution, with at least three passes of nine (9) points in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology or Geography.
- Ordinary Diploma with Credit pass in an appropriate engineering discipline shall be admitted to the second year of any of the courses listed above.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field of study shall be admitted into the third year of study plus
- All Diploma holders MUST meet the basic entry requirements at KCSE level or A’ level. Departmental requirement could be applicable
