Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture and Fees in Australia

Required a degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering? These universities in Australia could be of a help.

Though Naval Architecture/Naval Engineering and Marine Engineering are closely related course (both work on sea vessels) they are not totally the same.

While Naval Architecture study, design and develop of all forms of water crafts from ground up, Marine engineering study, design and develop just the equipment  used onboard sea vessels and offshore platforms.  That mean to say a Marine Engineer is skill in all equipment and parts that engineered watercraft.

Both courses are subsets of Maritime Engineering and that is why they are offered as specialisation of it by the few universities that teach the two courses in Australia. Therefore, you will first have to register for Maritime Engineering and thereafter choose either Naval Architecture or Marine and Offshore Engineering as your area of specialisation.

Bachelor of Computer Engineering and Fees in Australia

Details of the universities that offer computer engineering as a course and their fees in Australia are provided for you on this page.

Bachelor of Computer Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) and Computer Science in Australia are not totally the same courses.

What we could quickly notice between the two courses is that one is an engineering course and the other is a science course.

While computer engineering as a discipline design and build a computer system (both hardware and software parts) from ground up, the computer science focus of developing only the software for the system.

The computer engineers know how the hardwares like hard disk, RAM, power pack, motherboard, graphic drive and so on work in relation to one another and with the software. The computer scientists work only on the development of software which include algorithm, operating systems and applicants for the computer.

Computer Engineering being one of the engineering courses is accredited by the Engineers Australia as well as the Australian Computer Society (ACS), but computer science is only accredited by the latter.

Now, let see the number of the universities in Australia that offers computer engineering as a taught course and the fees each charge.

Looking for a university institution in Australia where a degree in petroleum engineering could be earned and the fees for the international students? Consider the list on this page.

Among the engineering courses that are not commonly taught in Australia is the Petroleum Engineering. Few universities offer the course to domestic and international students at either the undergraduate or postgraduate degree level

Petroleum Engineering is an engineering of oil an gas. As a discipline, it focus on the production and exploration of hydrocarbon (crude oil and natural gas). It is a course that requires a student to be very good in physics, chemistry and mathematics in high school before being granted an admission.

Oil and gas is the backbone of economy of many countries of the world and that is one of the reasons the engineers in the petroleum  industry of such countries are well paid
