5 Best Universitites to Study Engineering in Sweden

There are up to a hundred universities in Sweden offering different degree programmes. Each of the university does not offer their programmes the same way, they don't use same methodology and they don't operate in same environment.

Universities in Sweden are rated overall best, one over the others, while some are better than the others at a particular field of programme.

Here we bring to you five universities in Sweden where engineering is best offer as a programme.  Some of the  schools make fifty best in Europe while just one make 100 best in the world. We start with the best to the least best.

KTH Royal Institute of Technology

KTH is ranked in the bracket 201-250  among the world best universities but 16th best in Europe. The institution runs thirty different engineering and technology programmes at bachelor and master degree levels. Among all these programmes only Information and Communications Technology is offered in English at bachelor degree level. If you are an international student, you may not be able to pursue bachelor degree programme at the school except you are ready to learn Swedish language.

Chalmers University of Technology

It engineering programme is  ranked second best in Sweden, though the university itself is ranked in the bracket 251-300 in the world and 124th best in Europe.

Charmers University has 13 departments of engineering, science and technology doing research and making innovation for the betterment of humanity. Each department is staffed with highly experienced and qualified researchers and academicians.

Lund University

While Lund University engineering programme is the 4th best in Sweden, the university itself is 2nd overall best in Sweden, 34th best in Europe and  96th best in the World. Lund University is research oriented and that is why fifteen of it programmes within engineering and technology are offer at master degree level.

Linkoping University

This is 11th best university in Sweden but is engineering programme is outstanding that it earn fourth place in the country. The university is 95th best in Europe

Uppsala University.

Despite been the third best university in Sweden and 39th best in Europe, Uppsala University Engineering programme is only able to rank fifth in Sweden.
The Department of Science and Engineering at Uppsala University offers 25 engineering programmes at all levels of it degree system. Some of it engineering programmes at bachelor degree level are: construction engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, quality engineering and management and biomedical engineering.
