The student must sit for, pass an make the cut off mark for UTME. The UTME subjects combinations are:

After UTME examination, the student must sit for and pass Rivers State University post UTME making the required cut off mark for the Department of Computer Engineering.
Direct Entry Candidates
For a direct entry applicant to be considered for admission to study Computer Engineering at Rivers State University he must have the following:
GCE A/L: at least passes from two subjects (Physics and Mathematics) to be considered for 200 levels
National Diploma (ND): Upper credit in relevant engineering programmes to be considered for 200 level.
Higher National Diploma (HND): Upper credit in relevent engineering programmes to be considered for 300 level.
All these plus the credit passes in five O/L subjects as s listed above.
