The universities mentioned above and some other that names are not mentioned here offer Computer Science as a programme and not Computer Engineering. Both programme are not the same, though relatively close.
While computer engineering focus on the hardware aspect of the computer, computer science deal mostly with the software area of the computer. Computer Engineers know how the hard disks, cooling fan, heat sink, Random Access Memory (RAM), motherboard, computer power pack and others are designed, assembled and how they are working in relation to one another. The computer engineer are also good in electrical and electronics, for a computer is an electronic machine. They are train to know how all the parts are electrically connected in a safe and effective manner.
Computer Science are train to know and create computer language. They design and develop computer applications, algorithm and most importantly computer operating system like Windows, Mac, iOS and so on.
