- West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)

- National Technical Certificate (NTC) or NABTEB in related trade subjects plus Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.

Higher National Diploma (HND) Entry Requirements
- O'level results as stated for the admission to study ND
- Minimum of lower credit in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti, while a minimum of upper credit from other recognised polytechnics may be considered for admission.
- Evidence of post-ND one-year industrial training programme
- Applicants with pass but not less than two years (3) post -ND industrial training programme may be considered for an admission.
