North West University Electrical Electronics Engineering and Entry Requirements

North West University is one of many universities in South Africa that teach Electrical and Electronics Engineering as a programme. 

The School of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering teaches students in the area of design, development, generation, distribution, management, maintenance and application of electrical and power generation and in the design and development of electronics and integrated circuit devices. 

Electrical and Electronics Engineering at North West University is a four (4) years degree programme and it is taught at the Potchefstroom Campus of the institution.

Listed below are the minimum entry requirement to study for a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at North West University. 

 

Admission Requirements Electrical and Electronics Engineering, North West University

• NS (C) with full matriculation exemption

• Mathematics with minimum pass of  Level 6 (70-79%)

• Physical Sciences with level 5 (60-69%) and

• Home or first additional language with at least level 5 (60-69%)

• Engineering Test is conducted at the Faculty of Engineering North West University.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering at North West University is fully accredited by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
