The ND and HND programmes lasted a duration of two years each and both programme are dully accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) the organisation responsible for the accreditation of all technical and vocational training institutions in Nigeria.

National Diploma (ND) Admission Requirement
Credit passes in five (5) subject at not more than two sitting from one or two of
- West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
- Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)
- General Certificate of Examination (GCE) or
- NABTEB

An applicant for this course must sit for, pass JAMB's UTME and post UTME screening making cut off mark for the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Note: before an applicant could be considered for a provisional admission he must have chosen Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic as first choice or must be willing to change to the AOPE as his first choice with JAMB.
Entry Requirements Higher National Diploma (HND)
National Diploma with at least lower credit in Computer Engineering from any accredited higher institutions plus O'level result as stated above.
