Chemical Engineering has nothing to do with formulating chemical compounds, it area of specialization is in design and developing chemical, food, fuels and drug manufacturing processes (including plants, equipment and tools for the manufacturing of chemicals).
University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) is among very many universities where Chemical Engineering is taught as a course in Nigeria. It is a five (5) year degree course for the students admitted to 100 level of the programme leading to the award of Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) on successful completion of the study.
