ND Entry Requirements
To be considered for an admission to study for National Diploma (ND) of any of the above engineering programme at Federal Polytechnic, Bida, an applicant must have minimum of Five O level credits in relevant subjects which must include:
- Physics
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Chemistry and one of the
- Technical Drawing
- Economics
- Agricultural Science
- Further Mathematics
- Geography
- Biology
- Data Processing
- Metal Work
- Basic Electronics/Electricity
The five O'level credit passes must be at not more than two sittings from one or two of the following examination qualifications
- Senior Secondary Certificate Education (SSCE)
- West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) or
- National Technical Certificate and
Minimum JAMB score of 120
JAMB Subjects Combination:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics and
- English Language
HND Engineering Entry Requirements
- Five O'level result as required for ND programme
- National Diploma (ND) in the same discipline with minimum of lower credit.
- Evidence of one (1) year industrial training programme
The School of Engineering Technology, Federal Polytechnic, Bida may consider those with pass in their ND results for admission but must be with at least 2 years of post ND industrial training.
